Maurice Williams began his General Motors career thirty-seven years ago with the Pontiac Division in Los Angeles, California as a District Manager in Training. Since that time, he has earned positions of increasing responsibility in sales, service, and marketing departments throughout the company.

In his current position as General Manager Sales Support since 2015, Maurice leads the teams throughout the United States in charge of order fulfillment, dealer business development, dealer diversity initiatives and other operations support for Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac. Under his leadership, GM expanded US automotive industry dominance in the number of minority owned dealerships.

Prior to this role, Maurice served as President and Managing Director of General Motors, Middle East Operations. There he led the sales, service, and marketing organizations representing GM brands in Middle East countries.

Chief among his professional accomplishments, Maurice most values the mentorship, guidance, and support he has given to the advancement of previously underrated and unrecognized employees. Maurice continues to play a pivotal role in the advocacy of diversity, inclusion, and promotion of underrepresented talent to management and Executive level positions.
